The 'Remove Curse' spell absolutely never works. Most of the potions don't work as advertised, and neither do a lot of the spells. The 'Froststaff' is supposed to teach rogues the 'Freeze Me' spell (yes, I looked up a spoiler), but it doesn't do anything. There are a handful of miscellaneous problems with items and spells.
